1. Place: Embassy of Japan in Austria (International Organizations and Kosovo Section), Heßgasse 6, 1010 Vienna, Austria.
2. Employment status: 2 year fixed-term position (with possibility of permanent extension)
3. Payment: approximately 2700 euros per month (depending on qualifications and experience).
4. Expected start date: 1 March, 2025
5. Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30-17:00 (overtime possible on certain days of the week), lunch break 12:30-13:30
6. Job:
(1) Note-taking during multilateral meetings
(2) Proofreading of English-language documents
(3) Drafting articles for the Embassy’s website and social media
(4) Conducting research on topics related to international organizations and Kosovo
(5) Support embassy staff with tasks related to international elections
(6) Management of Japan-funded projects
(7) General administrative and secretarial duties
(8) If necessary, engagement in other tasks
7. Qualifications:
(1) Fluency (speaking, reading, writing) in English (preferably native), good German language skills，certain level of Japanese is a plus.
(2) Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft TEAMS
(3) Knowledge of international organizations in Vienna is preferable
(4) Interest in global security

9. Requirements: working permit in Austria.
