German Institute for Japanese Studies (DIJ) Tokyo

The German Institute for Japanese Studies (Deutsches Institut für Japanstudien, DIJ) is an interdisciplinary research institute focusing on modern Japan. In joint workshops, lectures and projects, the cooperation with the DIJ is a forum for exchange and cooperation between German and Austrian Japanese Studies.

 

Akademischer Arbeitskreis Japan (AAJ) [Austrian Japan-Society for Science and Art] 

The AAJ is a scholarly, non-political, non-profit making association open to all persons interested in Japan. Its approximately 120 members include scholars, journalists and artists, students and graduates of the Japanese section of the Department of East Asian Studies at the University of Vienna, as well as interested lay persons.

 

Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften (ÖAW) [Austrian Academy of Science] 

The ÖAW is a non-university research institute dedicated to innovative basic research, interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge and the dissemination of new insights with the aim of contributing to progress in science and society as a whole.
